Better JPEG quality

JPEG stands for Joint Photographic Experts Group. Or something like that. It’s a way to compress images, especially photo-style images to put them online. You’ve been able to add them with Question Writer for a while. However QW was compressing the images too much and the quality looked poor. Well that’s all been fixed, and QW doesn’t compress your .jpg images anymore – so your student will be able to see the image they’re answering questions on. The quiz file size will be larger now though – so if you’re finding the files are too fat, try compressing the images before importing them into Question Writer.
Update! 12/02/07 Quiz Edition now allows you to change the image quality setting
