Choose whether or not to show the correct answer at the end of every question or after the whole quiz is done.</p>
<p lang="en-PH">For example, instant feedback after every question forces a test-taker to learn concepts or facts one by one. On the other hand, feedback at the end of an exam is more for the purpose of having an assessment tool and less emphasis on detailed learning.</p>

<p lang="en-PH">E-learning is the &#8220;in&#8221; thing and your online quizzes are a big part of that. More and <a title="Indiana Public Media" href="http://indianapublicmedia.org/news/study-shows-4-5-school-districts-elearning-24347/" target="_blank">more schools are using online learning</a> technology nowadays. The likelihood of a paperless classroom seems all the more real.</p>
<p lang="en-PH">Yet, paper is not totally phased-out and you still feel the need to have hard copies of teaching material, including those questions and answers of exams. So you print a quiz and it&#8217;s easy enough to do just that.</p>
<p lang="en-PH"><a href="http://www.questionwriter.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Step-15.png"><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-2050" src="http://www.questionwriter.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Step-15.png" alt="Step 1" width="37" height="36" /></a>Select &#8220;Publish&#8221; and a drop-down menu is shown. You can then select from different publish options. For example, you can choose publish for printing, publish questions in text format, or publish inside PDF, to create files in different formats                  in your computer before you print the quiz.</p>

<p lang="en-PH">Sometimes you have to make sure that the test taker knows the correct answer to a question. So you force him or her to take and re-take a question until he or she nails the right answer. You have to find a way to ask a question until it is answered (some type of redirect function).</p>
<p lang="en-PH">You can do this through the branching feature of <a title="Question Writer" href="http://www.questionwriter.com/features.html" target="_blank">Question Writer</a>, where the software puts a requirement for the test taker to satisfy before the quiz can proceed to the next question. Here&#8217;s how to do it.</p>
<p lang="en-PH"><a href="http://www.questionwriter.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Step-11.png"><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-2005" src="http://www.questionwriter.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Step-11.png" alt="Step 1" width="37" height="36" /></a>Right-click on the quiz icon and choose your question type.</p>
<p lang="en-PH"><a href="http://www.questionwriter.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/QW_Repeat_TrueFalse.png"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2006" src="http://www.questionwriter.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/QW_Repeat_TrueFalse.png" alt="Step 1: Choose Question Type" width="814" height="537" /></a></p>

<p lang="en-PH"><a href="http://www.questionwriter.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/QW_Repeat_Metadata.png"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-2008" src="http://www.questionwriter.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/QW_Repeat_Metadata.png" alt="Step 2: Metadata" width="815" height="537" /></a><a href="http://www.questionwriter.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Step-31.png"><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-2009" src="http://www.questionwriter.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Step-31.png" alt="Step 3" width="37" height="36" /></a>Fill in the &#8220;Title&#8221; box as shown.</p>

<p lang="en-PH">Partial credit questions is a variant of multiple choice questions that allow you to assign the same or different points to every answer. This penalizes guesswork because you may award negative points for incorrect answers while giving partial points to one or more correct answers.</p>
<p lang="en-PH">Certain tests make use of partial credit questions to determine multiple correct answers. For example, a <a title="University of South Florida" href="http://myusfnews.it.usf.edu/wordpress/?p=283" target="_blank">disease has many symptoms</a> and the test taker identifies all the correct ones but may answer a wrong one from the selection.</p>
<p lang="en-PH"><a href="http://www.questionwriter.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/Step-1.png"><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-1936" src="http://www.questionwriter.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/Step-1.png" alt="Step 1" width="37" height="36" /></a></p>
<p lang="en-PH">Step 1. Click the &#8220;Partial Credit&#8221; icon on the main panel.</p>
<p lang="en-PH"><a href="http://www.questionwriter.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/QW_PartialCredit_Icon.png"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-1937" src="http://www.questionwriter.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/QW_PartialCredit_Icon.png" alt="Step 1: Partial Credit Icon" width="832" height="619" /></a></p>
<p lang="en-PH">Alternatively, you can click &#8220;Add Question&#8221; on the main menu and select &#8220;Partial Credit&#8221; from the drop down menu.</p>
<p lang="en-PH"><a href="http://www.questionwriter.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/QW_PartialCredit_DropDown.png"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-1938" src="http://www.questionwriter.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/11/QW_PartialCredit_DropDown.png" alt="Step 1: Partial Credit Drop Down" width="832" height="621" /></a></p>
<p lang="en-PH">You can also right-click the Quiz icon on the left panel, select &#8220;Add&#8221; then &#8220;Partial Credit.&#8221;</p>

(You can assign more points to an answer that is more correct than the rest of the right choices e.g. 1 point, 2                    points, 3 points, etc.) For the incorrect answers, assign negative points e.g. -1 or -2                points.</p>
