Quiz Edition - Is it possible to change right and wrong symbols?

Is it possible to change the graphics used for getting a question right (green checkmark), wrong (red pirate X), and which questions are wrong (~ symbol)?

I looked through the themes override panel and don't see this an option anywhere. It looks like these symbols are hard coded into the Quiz publisher?

Is the only way around this to rebuild the test in Publisher?

Hi Adam,

You're right about this - unfortunately these are hardcoded into Quiz edition. I can understand why you want to change them, I'm not happy with them either. I'll add externalizing these as a feature request - thanks.

Alex.

This was such a good feature request, I implemented it right away - in the latest release, you'll find a directory,

C:\Program Files\Question Writer - Quiz Edition\Publishing\quizresources

This contains all the images that are used on feedback pages to indicate correct and incorrect answers - you can switch these to other Flash files. (This also allows sound effects and animations to feedback pages.)

I suggest keeping the pixel sizes of the Flash files to 15x15 and 80x80 - however, you can render outside the bounds of the images to give them more screen prescence or handle spacing in a more aesthetic way.

Works great! Thanks for adding this!
