E-mail Service Status UpdateOver the past 24 hours, there have been some outages on our main server. During this time the result sets have been received and stored on our back-up server. We're working on getting those results transferred back onto our mail server. We expect to be able to do this over the next 24 hours. As the results are transferred onto our main server, you'll get an email for each one if you're registered to receive e-mail and you'll be able to log on and view them at the main server. Sorry for any inconvenience caused by this delay, we're working to get this resolved as fast as possible. Edited 1 times. Last edit at 07/31/08 05:14PM by Alexander McCabe. Alexander McCabe Update:
The main results server is down for maintenance (August 3rd). All result sets are being collected on our backup server - we expect to be able to get those transferred back onto the main server in the next 24 hours. Again, we apologies for any inconvenience caused, we're working hard to get normal service resumed as soon as possible. Alexander McCabe Update:
The main results server is back up now. All the result sets have been transferred onto the main server and are accessible there. We're still experiencing some difficulties with the e-mail server - so e-mail notification of the new results may not be going out. For now you should log onto the main results server to access your new result sets. [www.quiz-software.com] Alexander McCabe Alexander,
Is this typical of your program? I did not spend $195 to not be able to access my results when I need them. It's a bit crazy that you do not have a way of informing people when this is upcoming. I purchased your program so I could automate a weekly trivia system, and it is virtually useless if I cannot access my results VIA EMAIL... when I need them... Please explain this to me, or issue me a full refund if you cannot live up to the promises that your product implies. Thank you, Mark Mark Hi Mark,
I understand your disappointment and frustration. We're dealing with a service provider who has not met our expectations too. However, I understand our responsibilities are to you. Briefly - the past few days are not typical of the results server - if you bear with us you'll see the service restored to the level you were familiar with over the next few days. However, if you need a refund, we don't need any explanation at all other than you're unhappy - please contact sales@questionwriter.com to confirm if this is the route you'd like to take.
