mathematical symbols

hi

we cant type power notations in mathematics. plus signs like integral and differentiation are not being accepted.is there a template which can be used for typing mathematics symbols.

Hallo Puneet

You can use html formatting to type in mathematical symbols. There is an explanation of using html in the online manual:

and here are some websites with html for mathematical symbols (there will be more websites if you want to look, these are just the first few that appeared in google)

It takes a bit of getting used to - but it is usable.

HELLO HAZEL,

Thanks for your support. Where do we type these html codes for it to appear in the swf. Is there a simpler way of getting this done. I have to write about 9000 questions. It will take a lot of time to edit in html.

You could try the Character Map utility - more information on that here -

Also, if you might prefer to create your question in Word or a text editor using the text import format and then importing them later - more info here,
