Time Limit

If I set a time limit of 4 minutes in my form, what happens when 4 minutes expires?

Does the quiz send results at that point, so the person can't just reload and retake the test unbeknownst to me?

Thanks,

Mark

Hi Mark,

After the time limit has elapsed, the user is automatically forwarded to the end of the quiz. If you've checked the 'Send Results Before Showing Feedback' option, the quiz will then transmit the results as the next step.

Okay, so the form will still prompt the user to submit.. it will not submit automatically?

It does submit automatically if the 'Send Results Before Showing Feedback' option is checked . . . . the user is only ever prompted to ask if they are sure they wish to end the quiz.

You might wish to place your questions in a timed section, followed by an explanation page that informs the users that the results will be submitted if they click next button. The user will then be ejected from the section after the time limit is reached.
