Anyone recommend QuestionWriter?

I'm considering buying some licenses of QW3. I'm interested in:

What do you think of the software?
What impact does it have on you and your viewers?

Thanks a bunch for taking the time to answer!

Hey Troy

My company purchased question writer a few months ago and I can honestly say that we have not been disapointed with the results.

The program is very easy to use and the tech support on the product is the best I have ever experienced.

I would recommend this product to anyone.

Thanks

Daniel

Troy --

QW3 is the best exam software I have found (and I searched long and hard). It blows away Respondus, which our local IT group has a site license for. It is easy to use; diverse in question type; excellent graphics; great reporting; and compatible with LMS systems via SCORM.

Support is also excellent. Alex is genuinely interested in making it the most technically advanced test package on the market, at the same time it is the simplest to use (I think they are related)

My advice would be to try a license....

Hi Troy,

Like many others, I tried several 'fully featured' packages before I bought QW3; all of them were clunky and not user friendly at all and took a long time to get used to and when I did, they were very limited in what they could do.

QW3 is by far the best package around. Alex has succeeded in developing software that is totally intuitive and flexible. Feedback options are second to none and technical support is quick, comprehensive and relevant. I have had no regrets in buying QW3 and have succesfully used it to improve my students exam success rate and the lesson 'quizzes' have raised the game of some of my colleagues. I certainly have no regrets buying a licence and believe that you will have no regrets either!

I did an extensive search of available options, plus our university had access to two "name" packages (Web CT's exam facility and Respondus). In comparison, QW3 has a broader array of question types, is easier to use in exam design, and has a very intelligent and motivated developer (Alex McCabe). I had some concerns about integrating QW3 exams with our LMS, but any problems I encountered were the fault of the LMS not QW3. QW3 is the best on-line exam product on the market today, as is. I don't think it is yet perfect. However, I believe McCabe will continue to improve and polish his product until it is pretty close to that.

Our demands placed on QW3 have been substantial. It has met every challenge. It continues to improve. I think it would be a good investment of your time and money to license QW3.
