Date on Summary Report Is there a way to have the date the exam was taken printed on the Summary Report? This is actually very important as proof the date the test was taken.
Freeda Heatherly Hallo Freeda
The date that the test was taken appears at the bottom of the results email (along with the IP address of the quiz taker). The date and time is also shown in the results report viewed online. See our online manual for more information: [en.wikibooks.org] I hope this helps you Hazel Skeet Hi Freeda,
There's no option to make the date appear on the report within the Quiz - I'll make a note of this as a feature request. You might encourage your users to use the print option from the browser menu - this will include a date/time stamp on the print out - however it will be based on the date/time of the computer and this is quite easy to change. Alexander McCabe My secret for getting a date on the quiz.
People who take my quizzes need a date on the sheet they print. I changed the first question to require the individual to put their name and the date. in example, go to this link to see the first page of my quiz: [www.dannypettry.com] I hope this helps. yours, Danny Danny Pettry The problem that we are having is that the sending of the results is not always reliable and sometimes people have taken the exam, but no results were ever sent either to the server or to me via email due to the OnLoad Failure because the PC was not setup before the exam was started and without the date being on the report there is no proof of when they actually took the exam.
The problem with using the print browser from Internet Explorer is that it looks bad it is all squished up and if the person is savvy enough they may have turned off the print headers and footers so the date will not print. Freeda Heatherly Hi Freeda,
One way to ensure a user has internet access before starting a exam is to host the exam on a website - it's not bulletproof as the connection can still go down while the user is taking the exam but it is a good way to ensure the connection is there when the user starts the exam. The difficulty with relying on a print out, either from within the quiz or from IE is the date on the computer can be altered before the exam starts - so always better to rely on the server record for something like that.
