Richer Import/Export Options

I'm impressed with QW3. It's much less daunting than Respondus and the results look much smoother.

I am unable to import SCORM 1.2 into WebCT CE6(8) with all the latest patches but suspect it may be their bug. I think it's critical to be able to import test banks in CSV and standard text files such as AIKEN and GIFT. It would be good to import/extract SCORM.

Though it's outisde the usual, I'd love to see an adaptor to output various major LMS platform formats. Eg Blackboard,WebCT6.

Regardless, I'll be buying a license to use in our college ID department.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for the suggestions. I had looked at GIFT - but hadn't found any clear specification or information on it. I know Moodle supports it so we'd have somewhere to start from, but do you have any info on its history or origin?

I hadn't heard of AIKEN - but I think it might be the same as the text import format supported by QW3 -

Let me know how your SCORM 1.2 import goes - if it does turn out to be a QW3 problem, I'd like to fix it!

I discovered that SCORM 1.2 import does work in WebCT CE6. It will only *play* in an IE browser. In Firefox 2/3 and Safari 3 it simply loads and does nothing.

Loading up the HTML version, while a bit cumbersome, works fine.

Thanks Michael. Does other SCORM content work okay with WebCT / Firefox combination?
