How would I go about publishing my quiz to my Wordpress blog?

Thanks,

Hallo Wendy

I am sorry I am not familiar with Wordpress blogs so I can't tell you exactly how you would do this. What you need to do is upload the files generated when you "publish to the web". There will be at least 3 files (depending on the flash content of your quiz) and your quiz takers will access the quiz via the html index file.

There is a short tutorial on publishing to a website in our manual which might help you. [en.wikibooks.org]

I hope this helps you but let us know if you need more help and I will see what I can do.

Hi Hazel,

Thanks for responding so quickly! I read the wiki info, but unfortunately it didn't work.

I tried it 2 different ways: I tried to upload the files via the Add Media - Add Image/Add Video/Add Audio/Add Media (I chose Media), but it gave me an error with the upload of the files: "Unable to create directory /home/wendy/public_html/mikeandtonis.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/09. Is its parent directory writable by the server?"

I also tried via adding some text to the post and trying to add an embedded html link, but that didn't work at all, because it was looking for a url.

Any suggestions?

Thank you!

The only thing I can think of (without going and experimenting myself with Wordpress - and you probably know more about that than I would find out) is to create your own webpage and link to that from your blog. It is really really easy to do!

Thanks Hazel,

I am in the process of having my site converted into CMS (Vortex), so I'll be able to add a page in the background of my site soon (by myself) and will put it there. I guess I was just being impatient! lol

Have a good night.
