My present Standard Academic Single Author License allows me to have quizzes taken by a client but the responses come back to me in my own e-mail.

This is even if I add the client's e-mail address into the appropriate setup boxes.

I understand that with a one-user license, I can not have results go direct to the client, and I then need to forward them on after I get them?

So should I have each client open their own account with you?
I may still have access with the password and create the quizzes, but the student's submissions will go directly to the identified instructor, and not me?

Hi Barrie,

The 'Send Results By Email' feature is only active for quizzes published as HTML and hosted on your own website. If you upload a quiz to the Question Writer Tracker, it will assume you want the results e-mailed to your own e-mail address. You can have your client open their own QWT account to get results directly, or if you're using something like Gmail, you can selectively forward e-mail that contains a particular title or string.

I was logged into Tracker the other day and thought that another feature you could add was the ability to send results again. So if you had deleted the results from your inbox or perhaps you needed to go back and do some verification in weeks gone past, it (tracker)is a great place to see the results ordered and collated together.... rather then searching through your email accounts. But if you want to show someone else that result, if you want to forward it on, you have to do a screen capture or hope that you can find it in your email system. I prefer to have one Online Tracker System rather then having to set up email filters and accounts specific for sorting and storing question writer data.

Thanks Adam, I'll add it to our feature request list. I can also recommend a technique I use when I want to e-mail a report on a website - using a PDF printer driver. This is a software product that will masquerade as a hardware printer and when you print to it, it will save the document as a PDF - and hey presto, you have a nicely formatted PDF you can e-mail instead of a screenshot.

I do not want clients going in to my Tracker to change things, I will have them open their own QW account so student submissions go directly to their own dedicated admin person who will forward on the marked reports to the appropriate instructor.

The dedicated admin will have responsibility for centrally doing the start/stop time and date settings on Tracker, rather than have a separate account for each individual instructor.

I can not always be on hand (as the course programmer) to respond to client's instructors who want a limited time exam tomorrow !!!!

I plan to have a "request" page on the website that an instructor fills in with start/stop details etc. it goes to the admin who does the required setups.

The marks report is simple enough and I see no need for pdf, all they want is a score, and can print it off if they need to keep a copy.
