Matching Questions I have the Standard version and I am setting some Matching questions.
I think I have to upgrade to Professional to be able to award partial credits? With Standard, it just lets the student drag and drop their selection, but it does not allow me to set the correct answers, which means the instructor has to manually mark? Have I understood this correctly? Barrie Morgan Hi Barrie,
The candidate needs to get all the matches correct to score points for the matching question. The Professional version allows for partial credit - so it will award points based on the number of correct matches. Alexander McCabe I have set an exam including a Matching question.
It has four parts a,b,c, and d. When I check the Summary Report in my results page from Tracker, the answers show up as h,b,f, and d. Where did those different letters come from? Barrie Barrie Morgan Hi Barrie,
The matching options are as follows - a -> b c -> d e -> f g -> h . . etc The fixed options are a,c,e,g, . . . The variable options are b,d,f,h, . . . Therefore a user has answered correctly if the answer is reported as b,d,f,h, . . . depending on the number of choices/matches. Alexander McCabe |
