Filter QWT results by time period

Feature request....

I believe it would be a nice feature addition to be able to enter a time period on the results pages (plural) and only show results that are applicable. I can envisage that there are instances where we will want to say .....All results before this period in time are non applicable or perhaps you revamped some of your quizzes after a certain time so you may want to loo at the data in two groups, original result scores and revamped results and compare etc. I know that we can always do this sorting ourselves if we were to download the excel files but I’m sure you would find others interested in seeing this typical database functionality added into the system.

Hallo Adam

Thanks for that idea, I will add it to the feature request list.

Sounds interesting . . . I'm trying to think about how this might be added without being unweildy. I'm thinking you'd want the date range to apply to everything, so if you were viewing, say results from the last month, and then did a question breakdown, you'd still want that date range to apply.

What if there were a facily to set a date range, and then have that apply to everything you looked at on the account?

that would work...

the other alternative is that you set the date range for each page as you get there.

So by default you always see all result data. If you filter the main results page then you see only those filtered results.

If you drill into a specific quiz you will again see the default setting of all individual candidate results but have the same filter box/tab at top of screen, perhaps it remembers your last entry so you don’t have to type it again you just need to execute.

I think with what ever method you go with you will need some style changes to help the administrator remember wether they are looking at all results or filtered results. Colour differential, different boarders perhaps?
