Truncation of M/C question options

I copy and paste multiple choice questions from an original Word document into the M/C portion of QW.

The multi-line question copies okay, there are a few lines in the box and it also has a scroll bar to do a check.

However, the multi-line options for a, b, c lines etc seem to get truncated after the first line and I have to retype manually the missing parts of the text.

As the option lines are narrow and short, I can not see all the text until I select preview and then find I am short of lines 2+.
Is there something I am missing here?

I think the answer is probably that you have "new lines" in the text.

If your multi-line piece of text is all one paragraph in Word it will copies in to a single answer option with no problems. But if you have several new lines in a single answer - then only the first line will appear.
