Feature request

Hi there -

I wanted to use the quiz tool to sort people into three categories at the end, not just two. Currently you allow me to set a pass rate percentage. I'd like to set threshholds at 40 and 70, and provide three alternative statuses at the end.

Is this something you'd consider?

Thanks -

Carolyn

Hallo Carolyn

Yes thank you for your suggestion, I will add it to our feature request list. We refer to this list as we make improvements to the software and try to incorporate our users' suggestions, though I cannot promise when or if any particular feature requested might make it into a new version.

We do try to let our users know when a feature that they have requested is implemented but you can also keep up to date with upgrades and new features by subscribing to our blog:

Please let us know if you have any more suggestions or questions about Question Writer.

Hello,

I completely agree with Carolyn’s suggestion. I intended to post this feature request myself.

At first I thought I was missing something because in fact most test quizzes do not grade you just by assessing if you pass or fail.

An example:
Grade Percentage
Exceptional 96-100
Excellent 90-95
Very Good 80-89
Good 70-79
Satisfactory 60-69
Acceptable 50 - 59
Nearly Sufficient 40-49
Failure 0-39

This feature will be immensely appreciated if one day becomes a reality in QW.

Thank you in advance.

Best wishes,

Update:

The newly released Question Writer 4 Beta includes, among other things, the ability to maintain different scores within a quiz and display these scores in feedback. This feature can be used to create Myers-Briggs type questionnaires.

Question Writer 4 beta can be downloaded here: [downloads.questionwriter.com]

.. and the Question Writer Blog has more information on the new features: [www.questionwriterblog.com]
