designing partial credit points

I am using the trial version and attempting to determine how the system will score a partial credit multiple choice question. I have designed questions with, for example, 5 possible responses with only 3 responses being correct. In the points column, I put 1 point for each correct answer and O for incorrect answers. My intention is to give credit for correct answers and no credit for incorrect ones.

When I preview the questions, they are listed as one point questions, when in reality I want to give the respondent 3 possible points if all correct answers are chosen. What do I need to do to accomplish my intention?

It sounds like you might have set 'Maximum Number of Options that may be selected' to a value of 1. In this case a user would only be able to select one option and score a maximum of 1.

Try setting this value to 3 to allow the user to select more than one option when answering the question.
