URL links to webpage

A question regarding the QW Tracker URLs.
After publishing my exam file to "Publish to Question Writer Tracker", I then copy and paste the URL from Quizzes into my webpage, that the student clicks on to open the exam.
When I make any edit in the QW exam file and re-publish to QWT it creates a new URL and I have to follow it through to repaste the new URL into my webpage.
I jokingly call this "a spider's web that needs an eagle eye to prevent opening a can of worms".
Can the original URL not be retained to avoid me having to retrace all my steps, and not get the "oops......" message?
Only if I create and save a NEW file name would I then want a new URL.

The key here is to keep the same title for your quiz. As long as the title is the same, when you upload to QWT, it will recognize that you're overwriting the previous quiz and should keep the same public URL.

Thanks Alexander - I was editing the title at times to standardize abbreviations and that was changing my URL links, so I know to be very careful in future. Changing themes and pass scores is okay because it does not affect the actual title.
