registering problems

I saved the license zip file, but when I browse to open the license upon installing the program, it doesn't find it on my computer, because it downloads as a .zip file and the program is looking for a .lic file.
If I first try to open the .zip file, I get an error saying: The file QuestionWriter3StandardAcademic_lic cannot be opened because there are problems with the content. In details it says Microsoft Office cannot open this file because some parts are missing or invalid.
What else can I do?
Thanks.

Hi Ilene,

It sounds like your e-mail program is messing with the license file causing it to become invalid. It is also a bit strange that it would try to use MS Office to open the file - MS Office shouldn't be involved at all.

I'm going to try to send you the license file again, but this time I'll wrap it up inside a zip before I send it, and hopefully you should be able to use it this time.

Hi Gianni,

I've resent your license to you - can you let me know if you run into further difficulties with this.
