Finished Quiz Screen

I have been having trouble witht he finished quiz screen that it just sits there unabling the user to be redirected to another page. I have added a internal URL as a redirection after the quiz has been completed but it will not go there automatically. Any suggestions? The URL is on our intranet and not external to our organisation.

Hi Maria,

Sometimes we see that behaviour when the quiz is loaded from a local location like a hard disk or a network file share. What URL appears in the address bar when you take the quiz?

Also make sure you're not accessing the .swf file directly - you should be going through the .html file to ensure the redirection works correctly.

Hi

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

The URl that was showing was the powerpoint presentation quiz.swf file. I was accessing the .swf file directly because the .html file would not load the quiz. I changed it around and now there is a blank web page. The quiz is being accessesed at the end of a powerpoint presentation, does this make a difference?

This is what it is showing after I changed it to the .html file

Document URL: [intranet.imvs.sa.gov.au] Project/OH&S General Training/liquid nitrogen - HtmlExport/index.html

Hi Maria,

No, it won't make a difference that it is accessed at the end of a PPP - but the .html file provides the next URL to the .swf file so we must fix that to get it working.

Have you copied the .js file along with the .html file and .swf file?

Any error messages showing (apart from the blank screen)?

All those files are present in the folder and there are no error messages on the screen.

okay, can you zip up the three files, and send them to support@questionwriter.com - I'll have a look at them and see if I can tell what's going wrong for you.
