new QW4 image features

Alex and Hazel, where might one find documentation of the new QW4 image manipulation features, as are employed in the example quizzes on the blog? I am especially interested in exact positioning and paging features.

Along that line, it might be useful if .qwz copies of these example quizzes could be made available, so we can see what you have done. I see there is a sample quiz for plugins in the distro, but not for the options or page features, which seem to have a rich diversity of features. I'd love to take a look at that paged version of the venerable Italy quiz

Finally.....is there any way to load a background graphic for a specific question or page, covering over the theme graphic but overlain itself by the question content.....

There's a lot to digest in the new QW4 features! Congratulations on getting this out

Hallo Joe

Thanks for the useful suggestions, we will continue adding to the manual so it is nice to have some idea of what our users really want.

There is no way at present to watermark a particular page as you suggest, but I will add it to our feature request list.

Hi Joe,

Thanks for the suggestions - we're still in the process of documenting some of the features for QW4.

For the exact positioning - that deserves a blog and manual page of its own, but a short summary - use the new Position element - anything inside the position will be shown at the co-ordinates you specify.

Here's those two source files -

Also, thinking about your other request, I think you could use two position elements - the first to add a question background, the second to overlay that background with question content.
