Introduction identifiers

On the trial version there were options to have a number of identifiers on the introduction screen.

Now purchased a licence and cannot see these options?

Thanks

Steve,
I'm in the same boat. I just installed Question Writer 3 on my laptop - and am missing the "Introduction" link in the PROPERTIES window that has the multiple identifier checkboxes. Frustrating!
After searching and searching - I've sent QW Support an email about it.

Hi Steve, Janet,

It might be the case that you've tested the Professional version of the software, but have only purchased the Standard version of the software, which has fewer features. Here's the manual page on this feature,

Hi Alex

Before purchasing the standard version, I looked through the different features of each product and there is no mention of the identifiers being different.

Now feel a bit let down by this omission

Hi Steve,

I have the answer. This is from Hazel, at QuestionWriter:

"The multiple identifiers are only available in the Professional version of Question Writer 3.5. You will need to upgrade to the latest version of Question Writer 3 if you want to use this feature."
She sent the upgrade link too:
[downloads.questionwriter.com]

Works beautifully now!

Hi Janet,

I think you might be confused about this. Let me try to give an overview of the situation.

The multiple identifiers are only available in the Professional version of each product (QW3.5 Professional and QW4 Professional).

It sounds like what has happened is that you've download the trial version of QW3.5 and are again trialling the features of the Professional version.

Steve,

I'm sorry to hear that you are disappointed. The features list doesn't mention the identifiers - you're right, that's an omission and I'll correct that. However, the trial version does allow you to test both versions of Question Writer (Standard and Pro) when evaluating the product.

Additionally, I'm happy to offer you a full refund as the product has not lived up to your expectations. Alternatively you can upgrade at the difference in price between the two version. Let me know at support@questionwriter.com what you'd like to do.
