Answers are cut off

When I publish, the answers are not displaying fully ie. the last couple of words are cut-off. How can I fix this?
I have an exam currently on-line so if you could help me urgently it will be most appreciated.

Hi Teresa,

Can you send the .qwz file through to support@questionwriter.com and I'll take a look at it and try to find out what's going on.

My best guess is that QW is having trouble judging the size of a particular font and isn't making enough space available for the letters - you could try changing the font as a workaround. But there might be another reason so best to send through the .qwz so we can investigate properly.

Thank you but I found the problem - the setting 'align characters on pixel boundaries' was ticked. I took it off and the quiz is working fine now. Tx

Thanks for reporting this problem and the workaround! This looks like a bug with the QW4 Beta.

The option text has changed now to 'Optimize Text For Small Screens' in the latest beta.

Hello,
I am experiencing the same problem, but can not find the 'align characters on pixel boundaries'setting. Where is that setting located? Thanks, Linda

PS my answers are cutting off at 30 characters; I have several answers that need almost 150 characters including spaces.

Hallo Linda

That setting is only available to users with a Professional license and can be found in Quiz Properties - Text Settings - Text Settings. Please note that the latest release of Question Writer 4 has the option "Optimize Text for Small Screens" rather than the earlier field.

Have you set the number of lines available for an essay answer? This field is found in the actual question properties. See [en.wikibooks.org]

If you are still having problems can you send us the quiz (the .qwz file) at support@questionwriter.com so that we can have a look at it?
