Add a flag for questions that I want to skip and come back later

Hi.
I am wondering if the Question Writer allows a student toadd a flag to a specific question which will indicate that he/she is not sure about the answer. The rationale is that a student will coninue the test without answering those flagged questions and come back to them before the final submission.
If this is possible, can the student see at the final results' report the scores and the answers to those flagged questions?

Many thanks,

Simos

Hallo Simos

Thank you for your interesting idea. It is not currently possible for a student to flag particular questions. Also you can opt to include feedback after each question or at the end of the quiz ie after the final score (or not at all).

If you have the Professional version of the software you could try including a "not sure - try again later" option in the answer and use conditional feedback to direct the student to a new section of similar questions. Then as their scoring improves direct them back to the question that caused the difficulty. You can read some more about branching and conditional feedback here: [en.wikibooks.org] and here: [en.wikibooks.org]

However, thank you for your suggestion, I will add it to our feature request list. We refer to this list as we make improvements to the software and try to incorporate our users' suggestions, though I cannot promise when or if any particular feature requested might make it into a new version.

We will try to let you know when a feature that you have requested is implemented but you can also keep up to date with upgrades and new features by subscribing to our blog: [www.questionwriterblog.com].

Please let us know if you have any more suggestions or questions about Question Writer.
