Excel export have broken line

Hi Team,

We have done an export of all results from a quiz but the .CSV file have results from some candidates which breaks up in 2 lines (Rows, when imported into excel).

Is there a solution for this problem?

Hi - Sometimes a partial record or a problematic response set can cause a problem. Try identifying which record is causing the problem, and delete that record, then do the export again. That should help.

Hi again,

We found the reason to our problems: Generally we move from Win7 with MS Office 2010 to Win10 with MS Office 2016. We have only a few computers left running MS Office 2010 and they will soon be converted to MS Office 2016.

We see the following hurdle with 2016.

1. Sometimes no data is extracted from a Quiz.

2. When data is extracted some lines is broken in 2 pieces.

3. When opening the RESULTS.CSV we now have to convert "Text to Columns or by import. In MS OF 2010 it just converts of it's own when opening.

We have some example quiz's, if you need some test material.

I hope you will put some effort in, to get this solved for the future.

Hey Soren,

Usually problems like this are caused by incorrect import settings - make sure that in the import options panel you're using ',' as the delimiter. That should resolve most issues in most cases.
