Active X issue on IE browser

Im using licenced QW HTML5 version. Im having some interesting problem with the active x running with QW quiz on the IE browser when I saved the quiz on a server. It could not send the result response and keep retrying. Whereas it works fine if I run a local copy on the local desktop. IE just asks to activate the blocked Active x. But it does not ask it for the server version.

However, there is no problem running it from the server using any other browser (i.e. Chrome, Firefox etc.).

I would like to make it usable for all browser. Is there a workaround for this problem? Thanks for your help.

Thank you for your post.

I have been thinking about this and it seems that if the quiz works on other browsers then the change may be with IE. I think you can change this in the browser security settings, a search through IE help should give you more details.

Best Wishes

Hi Hazel

The problem is when I copy the file to the server and try to run it from there. If I run it from a local copy it just asks me to allow the blocked Active x. allowing it seems work ok in IE. Other browser does not even ask for it but works like charm.

Last night I managed to fix this problem by editing the index file meta line from <IE=9> to <IE=edge> </meta>. Now it seems working on IE without asking to allow the blocked active x for all the quiz I created on HTML5 even from a very complex folder on the server. Hope it will help for future.
