I recently wrote about how some schools are using Google Apps so students and teachers can share educational resources online. Today, I came across how Dropbox, a free service that allows people to store and easily share files with one another, can also be used in an educational setting.
It’s pretty convenient actually. Dropbox is just like a regular folder in your computer. You save or drag and drop files into it. No uploading required. Now, anyone you wish to share you files with, will also have an easy time accessing them. They just go to their Dropbox folder and open whatever file they want to, just as they would do using a regular folder in their computer. No downloading required.
