Could you believe the hoopla around the iPhone 5? Rumors are swirling about the product’s specs and design. The picture on the right is just one of the mock-ups floating around the Web.
Apple won’t be giving us the lowdown until October 4. They had sent invites that simply said “Let’s talk iPhone” as if to tease us some more. Fanboys sure are getting giddy over the event over at Cupertino next week.
This early, some people are even talking about the iPhone 6 already. Have we seen the mystical iPhone 5 yet? Anyway, sources say that the device will probably have a larger screen display that’s wrapped in an aluminum unibody. Inside is the new Apple A5 processor, the same thing that powers the iPad 2. It will also run on the new iOS 5.
Details may be sketchy but Tuesday’s launch of the iPhone 5 will take care of that. In the meantime, the frenzy of speculation continues as we near the launch. For customers and developers, October 4 can’t come soon enough. According to Mobi, 41 percent of mobile users in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada plans to buy the iPhone 5.
