Quiz Edition Fixes

Some fixes to report –
The numbers of randomized questions in the e-mail reports are fixed now . . . the quiz taker will still see questions numbered sequentially . . . but on the e-mail report, it’ll give the actual number of the question that was attempted. Also, the random selection works better now so questions aren’t ‘clumped together’ any more. You’ll need to republish your quizzes with the new version to get the improvements.
There’s better handling where a user tries to save to a read only file, or doesn’t have permissions to save a file. Quiz Edition warns of the problem and gives an opportunity to resave to a different location.
Compilation can be cancelled half way through successfully now – use this sparringly though, sometimes the compiler doesn’t like to be interrupted. You might need to save and restart if you catch it at the exact wrong moment.
Overall, user’s can’t receive a negative score for a quiz now. This was possible before, where a user notched up negative marks in partial-credit questions with no correct answers to offset the negative marks. Students hate to get an overall negative mark. Something to do with ‘self-esteem’.
Sometimes the preview screen didn’t show a previewed question immediately – and left a blank white screen. That’s fixed.
The GUI would generate an error when testing a quiz inside of QW with a ‘Forward URL’ – the app was not able to launch the URL properly and would cause an error. That’s yesterday’s news.
There’s now a ‘E-mail Error’ when QW generates an error – you can click the button to automatically send an error report. I read these and fix them for the next version.
I’ve added some typical MS Word characters to the font set – you know the funky double quotes and dots and dashes MS Word uses. Sometimes users try to copy and paste them into the essay answer box . . . now they can.
The cache of previewed quizzes/questions works better now – deletes everything that is more than seven days old, freeing up hard disk space.
