Quiz Edition Fixes and Identified Issues

There’s a new Question Writer 2.0 – Quiz Edition available. There’s a few medium level bugs repaired in it
1. Pass / Fail messages had spaces stripped out.
2. Asterisks(*) inside questions and answer options were not being exported correctly, and so not compiling at all.
3. Passing Score and Total Possible Score were not being removed from the report when not selected in the options.
A number of bugs remain, here’s a few you might bump into when testing.
1. The quiz title appears a little garbled in the Quiz Tree view (on the left hand side).
2. Reports of problems when only .NET 2.0 and not .NET 1.1 is installed – I haven’t confirmed this yet.
3. True/False labels always appear in English. This is a problem for foreign language users, who apparently have quite different words to indicate the veracity or otherwise of statements. We’re working on making these editable.
4. Duplicated questions always appear at the start of the quiz. These should be appearing after the question that is duplicated.
5. Enter key can be used in some fields where it is not appropriate
6.There’s some difficultly with installing when the .NET 1.1 Framework not present on target computer.
The stand-in script for the results to e-mail service is now available. It won’t send a pretty report yet, but does forward the XML of the user’s responses and scores and results can be extracted.
